A consultant Gynecologist IVF Specialist and a Minimal Access Surgeon/Advanced Gynecological Laparoscopic Surgeon A Reproductive Biologist

Dr. Kenneth Egwuda had his medical training in Nigeria, London, Italy, India and Munich. He is a member of the European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE), American Society of Reproductive Medicine (ASRM), Association of Fertility and Reproductive Health (AFRH), Africa and the European Society of Gynecological Endoscopy (ESGE). He has 13 year experience in the practice of assisted reproductive technology I Nigeria and abroad. He is an entrepreneur and a medical practice developer. He occasionally lecture postgraduate in the field of Assisted Reproduction Technology as part of his community service. Dr. Kenneth Egwuda was recently awarded doctorate in Business Administration, specializing in HealthCare Management by the London Graduate School and the Common Wealth University. For Dr. Kenneth Egwuda, medicine began as a career of prestige, being one of the most prominent professions while he was growing up. Little did he know at the beginning of this journey that a relentless chase of prestige could give birth to passion and a burning desire to put smiles on the faces of couples. In an effort to give back to his country as a Medical Practice Developer, he pioneered Assisted Reproductive Technology popularly known as the “test tube baby technology” on the Plateau and Kaduna states. As a Medical Practice Developer, he founded the then Gynaeville Specialist Hospital which is now known as ALPS Hospitals and Diagnostics, Jos, where he currently work as the unit head of the department of Human Reproduction. This facility currently holds the record of the oldest IVF mother in Africa, a first time mum at the age of 63. Dr. Kenneth Egwuda runs an IVF Educational program titled “Askdrken Gynecologist and IVF specialist”. He is also a Trainer of Doctors in the Science and Practice of IVF. His relentless chase for excellence earned him several awards amongst which are; • Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS); • Post-Graduate Award in Assisted Reproduction Technology (PGA-ART); • International Certification by European Society of Gynecological Endoscopy (ESGE); • Fellow Minimal Access Surgery (FMAS); • Fellow West-African College of Surgeons (FWACS); • Fellow Medical college of Obstetrics and Gynecology (FMCOG), Nigeria • Master Class Certificate in Health Care Management, London Graduate School; • Doctor (PhD) Business Administration, Specializing in Health Care Management • Best doctor in Plateau state (Who is who awards 2017); • Best fertility centre in northern Nigeria 2017; • 2017 Africa’s distinguished personality of honour; • Icon of excellence in medical practice in Nigeria by the International Project Management and the American Academy of Project management(AAPM); • Honorary Chartered Master Professional Consultant(MPC) by the AAPM and University of California; • Award of Excellence and pioneer of IVF on the Plateau by Graduating Medical Students, 2017, University of Jos; • Nigerian Humanitarian Icon Award by Her Global Majesty Publication; • LEADS African Patriotic Personality of the year, 2018; • The most outstanding Gynecologist on the Plateau, 2018; • Garkuwan matasa Arewa by the Northern Youth Association of Nigeria; • Philanthropist of the year by Miss Independence, Plateau State. Dr. Kenneth Egwuda was the only Nigerian/African based IVF specialist present in the England House of Commons when the Bill for the safety of Assisted Reproductive Technology in the world was deliberated upon in April 2018. Dr. Kenneth Egwuda wishes to help in bridging the gap in medical excellence between the western world and sub-sahara Africa while he hopes for an enabling political climate.
